Our Electrical Engineering Department can offer the following services, which can be used to ensure an adequate sum insured:
- Can assess a buildings’ electrical workings to prevent potential fire hazards: electrical fires are one of the biggest costs for insurance companies
- Provide high-quality electrical inspection reports to insurance companies to avoid additional unexpected expenses
- Advising on the safety of electrical wiring, lighting, motors, and generators: checking that these components are in line with current government standards
- Provide advice and engineering-related solutions on electrical damages caused by weather or natural events, as well as the condition of electrical connections and circuits, including grid connections and the corrosion or aging of components
- Conduct various unbiased electrical inspections to present our clients with the conditions of the building, to establish an adequate value that the client should be insured for, to find the root causes of occurring failures and to advise on rectification requirements:
- Forensic Inspections: assess electrical problems arising after the completion of construction and advising on remediation
- Pre-Purchase Inspections: assess a buildings electrical workings before the client purchases property
- Construction Stage Inspections: examine the electrical components to identify potential wiring, lighting or other electrical problems that could arise and recommend necessary alterations
- Damage Inspection: determine the value of a damage/loss that occurred due to a electrical failure and give recommendations on the reinstatement
