Our Mechanical Engineering Department can offer the following services, which can be used to ensure an adequate sum insured:
- Can assess the condition of any mechanical equipment, including pressure plants (boilers, air conditioning etc), lifts, escalators, engines, motors, water pumps, etc. to prevent potential health and safety hazards
- Provide high-quality mechanical inspection reports to insurance companies to avoid additional unexpected expenses
- Advise on the performance, safety and reliability of mechanical equipment and that installation is done according to the recommended standards
- Provide advice and engineering-related solutions on mechanical breakdowns/damages caused by weather or natural events, as well as the condition of such equipment after the damage has occurred
- Conduct various unbiased mechanical inspections to present our clients with the conditions of the equipment, to establish an adequate value that the client should be insured for, to find the root causes of occurring failures and to advise on rectification requirements
It is advised that such inspections should take place year, as the sum insured must be updated due to various variations that happen over time. This will ensure that there will be no shortfall in the event of an insurance claim.
